On Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 11:11AM, the spirit of Cindy Bleyenberg-McCrea was set free. She was at peace and surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy was an active member with Fabulous at 50 Calgary, from the start. In fact, she was at the very first drop in social I held. I can still see her beaming smile as she waltzed into the pub and gave me a big hug declaring "It's time to choose Fabulous.
Cindy did Fabulous well!
She is one of our original "Poster Gals" from an incredibly fun photo shoot, where we were all introduced to her signature blue feather boa. She attended events. She led events. And she was one of the original Fab Forte (a singing group for women who felt they could not sing) This group and the hours we spent together will be some of the most meaningful and enjoyable in my life. Lead by the incredible Holistic Vocal Coach Sandy D'Acey, we all transformed and transcended fears we did not even know we had. We laughed, we cried and we grew.
Over the years Cindy, touched many lives and created a vast network of friendships. All of whom will miss her dearly.
Cindy was and will always remain one of my dearest FABULOUS friends.

You have been a blessing and a joy in my life.
From the first moment I met you, over a decade ago, on the ski slopes of Lake Louise, I knew we would be friends. I loved your zest for life and zany antics. Oh how we laughed.
You inspired me and cheered me on during my return to school.
You were a “poster girl” for Fabulous at 50 and flaunted your blue boa 
as you exuded a new confident attitude, of living life on your terms.
