What are your words?
I am one of those people that would rather not eat, than indulge in crappy fast food. But the other night, I received a text from my daughter with a request for a cheeseburger. Amber is 25 and decided it was a good idea to come to my house and demand dinner. And because I knew she had been out the night before and was in need of some fatty food to make her feel better, I gave in and made a stop at Harveys. LOL.
My partner John rarely gets fast food, so I thought I would also treat him to a good Harvey's burger with Fries. I had to restrain myself, because I lovvvvvvve french fries. I will admit I did sneak some out of the bag on the long drive home. I am rambling, so the reason I am telling this story, is because of the new slogan Harvey's has come up with. As someone who believes that having the right intention behind everything we do is powerful, I was so impressed with their new slogan. I thought of the hours it must of taken their marketing people to come up with something with such impact, but still simple. Maybe I am overreacting...but here it is
GREET, GRILL, GARNISH, GRATITUDE.
Is that not brilliant! Wouldn't it be fabulous if we all could be that simple and direct in what we do to serve others. Whether we have a business or not, having our purpose so clear, could make the difference in accomplishing it or not. I am sure the staff at Harvey's are now clearer and find it easier to do their jobs.
My words for fabulous at 50 are INSPIRE, EDUCATE & EMPOWER. Whenever I feel off track or need to make a decision regarding fabulous at 50, I go to those words, and if they do not fit, I push it aside.
Kudos to Harvey's for saying gratitude, you are now on my favorite's list.
Fabulously yours,
