Is your vision blurry?
This past couple of months has been a whirlwind. Planning the Fabulous@50 Experience is always a ton of work. But this year we added in a fundraiser for The Edmonton Dream Centre called “Entertaining the Dream “ and the Queen of the Day contest. And just to spice the whole thing up, I took a trip in between to New York for a wedding.
My vision for Fabulous@50 was always about inspiring, education and empowering other women, but along the way, I think I lost what inspired me. My vision got blurred...
But luckily opportunities show up. My dear friend Bonnie Jean McAllister is part of an artist’s guild that represents 17 artists in Beaumont. In a casual conversation I asked her I could become part of the Painting Door on Main Artists Guild. One thing lead to another and I was invited to show my art to the other artists. I was so nervous, not really sure if I would be accepted. I was, and now I am so honored to be part of this family of artists. Every time I go to work my shift, I am so inspired by the beautiful work of the other artists. But it is more than that, it is the feeling of belonging. Being part of a group of individuals that share your vision, and care about your success and well-being.
It is never too late, to pull out the thing you loved to do, but never made time for.
