A Sense of Belonging

I have often told people that 'I have always been a mom' I guess that is just how i felt having my first beautiful daughter at 16.Then had two sons and one more gorgeous daughter at 38. When we are raising our families and sometimes and or working also, we don't have time to think about our own futures and just what we want to be when we grow up , if we ever do. Since becoming a baby boomer (A WOMAN OVER 40, 50 etc) I started to question "what now"? I have raised my children, I am a wife, I have had many jobs, some I liked better than others, I have completed two marathons, I have volunteered for many organizations, but where was the sense of community and friendships with other women? Being a woman over 40, I believe we face many challenges but I think the biggest challenge is to grow personally and professionally and also the opportunity to go out and  have fun. Where do we start to look for networking for our business,and educating our self on whats out there? That is exactly why I have taken the big step in becoming a business owner with fabulous@50 for New Brunswick, I want to meet the needs of other like minded women as myself. I am striving to host events that will inspire you to do what it is you have always wanted to do, also to educate you by having workshops , seminars with topics that are relevant to our age demographic.

The most important element for me is the friendships I am building in our community of Fabulous ladies. Why not send me a message to join my VIP club? Crazy Daisies Fun Fashion Show coming up in April where we get to dress in the weirdest, ugliest outfit we can find (I told you we need fun, ha ha) judging for the ugliest will be done for a fabulous prize.
