Step up to the edge and be adventurous
Same old - same old. It's so easy to get into a rut and stick with what feels comfortable or familiar. We wear the same few items of clothing over and over. We watch the same television shows, eat the same food, have the same conversation again and again. No wonder some people feel like there is no zest in their lives!
Everybody needs a little bit of adventure. Which doesn't mean that you have to book a sky diving lesson, unless that's what you want to do. Adventures come in all shapes and sizes. Being adventurous simply means trying something new and different. Every time you take a small step or a big leap out of your comfort zone, you expand your range of experiences. Even if it turns out you wouldn't do it again, the confidence and learning you gained doesn't leave you.

Time to take up a little less space. Step out of your comfort zone and try something new. You decide how big or small a step you would like to make. Take a class and learn a new language or a new dance step. Read a different kind of book. Try a new cuisine - make reservations at an ethnic restaurant you have never tried and let your server help you choose your meal. Wear a colour you don't usually wear. Listen to your kids' music. Old and familiar is always waiting for you. But you just might find new and different is to your liking.
