Gratitude Walk
I love to read and occasionally I will sign up for a course. I find it interesting to learn about different ways to think about business and to expand my knowledge on business and personal development. Recently I signed up for a online course called Inspired Income. At the beginning of each session, Dori has a gratitude minute. A time to reflect and be grateful for what you have. She has a printout sheet where you can jot down a few things you are grateful for everyday. Great idea. Even Oprah has a gratitude journal. I have had a gratitude journal, done it online and sheets like Dori provided, but what I recently realized is a new way to express gratitude. And this is best way for me, it has the most impact.
I love to walk and ride my bike, I do one of these everyday. It was during a walk a few weeks ago that I realized that as I was walking, I was looking up at the beautiful blue sky with the wispy clouds, I was saying thank out. I was saying thank for the strong body that was healthy enough to walk, to breath fresh air, to see the heavenly sky and ears to to hear the birds sing. Thank you for the freedom to work from home and to have a flexible schedule. Thank out for the money in my wallet, a cell phone, a comfortable pair of shoes. And as I headed home, thank you for my beautiful cozy home, with a comfortable bed, full fridge and loving husband. Being thankful for what you have is so important, find your own way of expressing your gratitude. Write, speak it out loud or take what I am now call the "gratitude walk"
